Microstructure:
Incoloy 800H/800HT is a solid solution strengthened alloy with a face-centered cubic lattice structure. Usually titanium nitride, titanium carbide and chromium carbide will appear in the microstructure of the alloy.
Characters:
1) Due to the limitation of the content, it has good creep rupture resistance when the temperature is higher than 600 degrees Celsius, and at the same time, it will not reduce the plasticity when it is used for a long time under 700 degrees Celsius.
2) Good resistance to corrosion in reducing, oxidizing and desalinating atmospheres, and reducing and oxidizing alternate atmospheres.
3) Long-term application at high temperature, with good metallographic stability
Corrosion Resistance:
Incoloy 800H/800HT,has similar content of Nickle, Chromium and Iron as Incoloy 800, it shows similar ability of Corrosion resistance. Due to higher Chromium, this series of alloy has more excellent oxidation resistance.
Compared with 800, 800H/800HT can be applied in higher temperature while keeping great hardness. Under high temperature, it shows marvellous ability for anti-carbonization, nitriding and anti-oxidation.
