Incoloy 800(UNS N08800)
Incoloy 800(UNS N08800)
Microstructure:
Incoloy 800 is a solid solution strengthened alloy with a face-centered cubic lattice structure. Usually titanium nitride, titanium carbide and chromium carbide will appear in the microstructure of the alloy.
Characters:
1) Due to the limitation of the content, it has good creep rupture resistance when the temperature is higher than 600 degrees Celsius, and at the same time, it will not reduce the plasticity when it is used for a long time under 700 degrees Celsius.
2) Good resistance to corrosion in reducing, oxidizing and desalinating atmospheres, and reducing and oxidizing alternate atmospheres.
3) Long-term application at high temperature, with good metallographic stability
Corrosion Resistance:
Incoloy 800, like many austenitic stainless steels, can be sensitized, or exposed to some corrosive media in the range of 540-760 degrees, which is prone to intergranular corrosion.
