Introduction of Highly Durable Manganese Steel Material-Mn13
Mn13 is a short code for manganese steel, of which the manganese element stands around 13% in the chemical composition.
It’s also called hadfield steel. But we tend to use Mn13 to describe this kind of highly durable steel material for inquiries nowadays.

Mn13 is the best selection in durable material for the purpose of strong-resist impact and high-pressure wear and tear:
1. it achieves the highest processing hardened features than any other high manganese steel material, proven by two main characteristics: one is that the greater the external impact loads, the higher the wear of its own surface layer resists; the other is that as the hardened surface gradually wears, a new work hardened layer will continue to form.
2. besides, another distinguishing point stands out: it is suitable for making wear-resistant components that can withstand the abrasion of high impact material for a long time.

Widely used in metallurgy, mining, building materials, railways, electric power, coal and other mechanical equipment for a long time as it's been, and with the rapid development of modern industry as well as the rapid advancement of science and technology, especially in recent decades, high manganese steel has become the preferred wear-resistant material in advanced equipment such as trains, bulletproof vehicles, rock drilling robots, new tanks, etc. . Many new material and modern surface engineering technologies are still unable to compare with high manganese steel in terms of cost performance.
